Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 September 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TapKad.my and related services. By creating an account or using TapKad, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
TapKad provides digital business card tools for individuals and companies, including profile pages, QR sharing, company branding, and related features described on https://tapkad.my. Features may change as we improve the product.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@tapkad.my if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Plans and fees
Individual accounts are offered free of charge under the current plan. Company packages are billed as described on our Pricing page. We may change pricing with reasonable notice for renewals. Fees already paid for a period are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, logos, text, contact details). You grant TapKad a worldwide licence to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the service (for example to show your public card).
You confirm you have the rights to use any logos, photos, and personal data you publish, including employee cards created by a company administrator.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use TapKad for unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or harmful purposes.
- Upload malware, scrape other users’ data without permission, or attempt to breach security.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Spam leads, abuse attendance or invite features, or interfere with other customers.
6. Public profiles
Public cards are visible to anyone with the link or QR code. You are responsible for what you publish. TapKad is not responsible for how third parties use information obtained from a public card.
7. Third-party services
TapKad may integrate with third parties (for example WhatsApp links, Google sign-in, email delivery, hosting). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policies.
8. Intellectual property
TapKad branding, software, and site design are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or resell the platform except as allowed by law or written permission.
9. Disclaimer
TapKad is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TapKad and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to TapKad is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the company package in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) RM 100 for free individual accounts.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for users or the platform. You may stop using TapKad and request account deletion at any time. Provisions that should survive (including IP, liability limits, and governing law) will survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts in Kuala Lumpur shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
